2 Hour Bicycle Tour
A shorter tour of Soweto that will take you to some of the most interesting historical sites around Soweto. Visit the formal migrant workers’ hostel and be introduced to conditions of male mine workers and meet the families that live here today. Cycle through the vibrant community of Meadowlands, and continue to the Hector Pieterson Memorial, the historical landmark of the 1976 student's uprising, proceed to the famous Vilakazi street where Nelson Mandela used to live. Cycle back to Lebo's where we invite you to taste our home brewed beer learning more about African customs and traditions.
All our tours at 10am and 1pm include lunch which is either served after the tour – 10am slot – or before the tour – 1:00 pm slot. Lunch is served at our “Outdoor Restaurant” with seating in the community park.

Duration: 2 Hours
Dress: * Comfortable shoes * Extra sweater or rain jacket * In winter (June-August): A couple of layers with a jacket or jersey as winter mornings starts of quite cold but as the day goes the weather usually warms up.
Fitness Level: You need to be light to moderately fit. This tour is suited for people of all ages. You will not be cycling for the full duration of the tour and there will be many stops. You can expect a few hills.
