From 26 to 28 June, we held a pre-launch of our Soweto 2010 campsite. We decided having a campsite for the 2010 FIFA World Cup would be great fun tight in the middle of the soccer-loving township of Soweto.

We invited some friends over to help test the camping ground - the park opposite Lebo's Soweto Backpackers. The festivities were complete with some drinks, a braai, local performances and the Confederation Cup Final. Everyone was disappointed that South Africa's team - Bafana Bafana lost in the semi-finals, but there were enough Brazil and USA supporters around to make for a rowdy time.
